Blimey thats a quick turnaround!!!!!

I know nothing at all of its refurbishments no, but he did say he knew a guy that could do it for him, that's why we struck a deal.

The chassis renovation, new steering parts (that'll make a big improvement, I knew there was something to be done here), and service & MOT has been done by them from looking at the ad. Not a bad price at all for the work thats been done IMHO, and he does trade ins thumbup

...see what a good guy I am, I even left all that tax on for you guys biggrin

He's quoted V8 developments too, but it is Tower View that did the work, (not for me mind.)
Hey! Thats a nice spoiler on the back scratchchin

Scuse the new name guys, couldnt resist hehe

"Condition alert" from 1993, Category statuses were not introduiced until 1997
With the car being only 3 years old at the time it was, I'm assuming it would have been repaired by TVR themselves or a TVR approved company.

Cheers

Apart from the dodgy steering wheel, pedals and handbrake it looks great !

Price is prety good too !

Looks like someone will get a great wedge there .. shame Woody sold up but I suspect he will eventually see the light and his mistake.

Hi,

First post. I'm going to look at this car this afternoon. Had wedges before last being 6 years ago 390se (Red had to be).

So any advice? I spoke to the guy and seems genuine (arn't all car dealers !!!) says he deals in loads of TVR's and sold 8 in the last 6 weeks.

Asked him about the work and says that he's got a guy that does all his TVR work and so that's why it's been done so quick.

Is there any history on this car? and I think it used to live in Bournemouth my neck of the woods?

Any advice/info appeciated. Sorry but I have been looking at chimps as there so cheap at the mo!

P.S. has this motor always had the SEAC spoiler?

I'd honestly get Rob Ingleby to look at it, £230 well spent for a thorough indy report, I put the spoiler on it, and did a good job IMO biggrin

Yes the car was from Dorset, Medieval who I bought it off, bought it from there I think

You'd save a few quid too, and its still red thumbup

its also self evident on here that Wyn looks after his car's more than me too, he's spent loads of time on his, he seems to know his stuff going buy what he's done to it.

Actually Karl, you best ask Rob to check if she's still in the boot! I haven't seen her about for a bit. hehe

I looked at this car when it was for sale in Bournemouth about 2 years ago. It is a nice looking car and goes like stink but had a very rusty chassis at the time and also an unknown problem with a dodgy gearbox, so those 2 things put me off (I think woody eventually fixed the gearbox?). It doesn't have a carbon-fibre dash - it is I believe aluminium with carbon-fibre sticky stuff on.

Prior to it being in Dorset I believe it was in Halifax/Huddersfield area of West Yorks and had been laid up for some time before it was sold on Ebay for about £4k. It has had lots of owners if I remember rightly (15?). It was available to buy 2 years ago for £5k with that plate on.

Hope that helps smile
