Hi guys. I last owned a TVR Wedge 2 years or so ago but decided the grass was greener in the 'Corvette' world..it wasn't, paperbag

Followed by a stint in the Chimp arena..getting closer. It was a stunning car which i got through Seamus, and it performed superbly, but still something was missing..scratchchin

Of all the cars i have owned, only one have i missed..bad. Only one gave me 'that' grin, whilst never getting bored looking at it. That car was my old white 400SE.frown The second i sold it i regretted it.

Sooo.... Hopefully, all being well, i will be the 3rd owner of this 400!!
It's in stunning condition, with only 31,000 miles from new.
It has a full Rob Ingleby report + more.

I pick it up this Sunday, i can't wait..
It's good to be backsmile

Is he...?? I regretted selling mine.

Done deal on this one now. Saying that, it is superb.smile

Yeah, backs the same, but i try not to let it stop me doing things.
If i can handle 20 minutes riding my brothers GSX-R then the 400 should be ok.

Pain is just an illusion - all in the mind..err, something like that.

It's strange actually, iv'e been lurking on the wedge forum for a little while, but it feels odd posting minus a wedge. You feel a little like a fraud.
Anyhoo - all sorted now.
Oh for Sunday!bounce

Thats Clives's car (as the ad says his name!) but he used to live in Petersfield, and bought it the same week i got mine!!

As you said, RI did an inspection on this before Clive bought her, as it was from sunny scotland before he had her...

He came to a couple of goodwood meetings, and we did an A272 blast together which was ace! Lovely car, really decent honest guy as well..

Good Luck!!!

Hi Matt, how you doing mate?

Yes, went and viewed the car yesterday & the car was lovely. Clive is a top guy as well who is geuninely gutted at having to sell her. I know how that feels.

I'm looking forward to joining in some future blasts. Lets hope summer arrives this time.

Indeed - you can tune it out.

In fact I use spannering on the wedge as useful therapy to clear RSI typing-related aches ;^)

DP400 couldn't hibernate - after his diet, stick insects were taking up anorexiabiggrin Has anyone checked the 308GT4 forum he might now be lurking over therewink

Regret seems to be mentioned a lot from those who have sold for a more rounded outlook but at some point I will need to make my own mind up.

Be good to catch up with everyone in the spring but we can have a beer before thenyes

Nice to see some of the old names back on here.. guess you must have been lurking biggrin

Guess a Sunday meet must be on the cards in the Spring.

We also meet for a beer in the evening on roughly a monthly basis in the Windsor area..

Of course you need to make your own mind up, but with the value of hindsight.. i would never have sold.

I do believe that the 'Wedge' is heading for a golden era..biggrin :fanfare:
