Hi Guys sorry to hassle about this one but I'm trying to get my new Wedge back on the road ASAP!
I've got a 350i bodied car and have asked Coverdale carpets about supplying a set of new carpets. The drawings which they sent me are pattern number A746. Could anyone who has used Coverdale confirm if this is the correct one because it looks to me like there is too much carpet! They show one piece for behind the pedals, another from the pedals to the seat, another for under the seat and then another which looks big enough for a 4 seater!
Can anyone help please?

Cheers

Karl

Is that the bit that goes vertically behind the seats? There's a fair bit there. scratchchin
Laid out flat it could look like it was for a 4 seater.
I think 'matt man' is doing this at the mo.

Ther are 3 additional pieces for the back shelf section that's what's confusing me!

Indeed i am doing this at the moment! ears

Got the full carpet set from COverdale although i sent them my old carpets as a template to match up against the pattern they already had. I also wanted to do this as i dont think i have ever seen two wedges the same so an 'out the box easy solutioncloud9' seemed unlikely!!!

These guys are not cheap, i wouldnt say miles off the board, but they are really helpful and if a piece is cut wrong, then they will send you another piece from a template etc. The side sill sections on mine were too short so called joanne and she offered either a new cut section or to send a few metres of carpet in a next day post. ALso to add, they sent the carpets which i cut and trimmed to finish the way i wanted them, and sent back to be trimmed/edged in a light grey piping.

The rear section behind the seats consists of:
1 x piece for the shelf
1x piece for the rear 'wall' of the shelf
2x edge pieces to cover the exposed wheel arched
1x piece to cover the fibreglass 'cover' which sits at the top behind the seats

There is loads of carpet!yikes

This is the first time ive carpeted a whole car and would say that it takes A LOT of time and patience to do!

Dont let me put you off, its going to look great when its done, but dont expect to do it in a few hours as a) it will look ste!! and b) everytime you get into the car it will bother you!

I think your carpets have rotten and ripped like mine did so this is the only way forward!!!

If youve got any questions, let me know or give me a call (ill send my number if you want to chin wag!)

Cheers,

i can confirm that they are correct because they got the pattern from my old carpets about 18 months ago.i got them to make up carpets for the boot as well and a set of overmats for footwells.they did a great job and they look good in the car.
