Hi
what do the diodes attached to the fuse box do?
Can you test them and do they only work one way round,if so how do you know which way?
thanks

The diodes will be generic rectifier diodes 1N4008 or some such. Might be as much as 12p each from Maplin. They are directional (that's what they do!) so note original orientation (though as it doesn't work this could be wrong! compare with a working example).

If you haven't got one already... buy a cheap DVM. The manual will explain how the diode checker works. Basically if you get a different number measuring the diode in each direction then it's probably good as they either they go open or short (usually accompanied with a smell and a puff of smoke as the magic that makes it work escapes wink)

Wedg1e has info on the light circuit on his website. Someone will be along with a link soon enough......... waiting.......... tumbleweed

My relay board has two diodes on lucar clips (plugged in like fuses), am i right in assuming there should be power to one end of one or the other, depending on whether the lights or the full beam is on?
many thanks for the link.
