Southern Wedges Meeting
Discussion
All,
It's been a while but it's finally time to blow off the cobwebs off the wedge and get a fresh MOT and get out there and drive it.
We had been using a few pubs near Ascot (Windsor) but it had been a bit hit or miss.. some times they had a kitchen open other times not.
So - we have a new monthly meeting place and a fixed date : 1st Wednesday of the month.
It's the Half Moon in Windlesham - GU20 6BN which
is just off the A322 (very close to M3). It's a nice country pub, good menu and good beer, decent car park and nice beer garden.
So - the meeting dates will be :
Wednesday 7th May, 4th June, 2nd July, 6th Aug, 3rd Sept.
A few have already expressed they are up for this - we can also celebrate the wetting of the babies head for Seamus's daughter.
Hopefully we can also do a few weekend runs : perhaps a run to the south downs, cotswolds, the 4th Sunday of the month at the Goat Hertford Heath - was fun the other year too !
Now - all I need to do is get the wedge finished

I had a REALLy annoying creak on mine when i steered especially parking and turned out to be the suspension top mounts needed tightening. Werent loose but has almost gone now ive given it some 'matt-man power!'

I had an annoying moan on mine at high speeds.. but the g/f does not go in the SEAC much these days
Hmm I wonder how much Rev would pay not to send the above link to Elaine ? After all I do have her email address

Mind you I think both Michelle and Elaine know what we are like by now so probably not worth a fiver
