When I say borrow, i really mean come and use as it could be difficult to take away with you!

Couldn't you just dig it up and take it away? I mean, it wouldn't take up much space, it's only a hole. Indeed it should fit in the boot of a Wedge, especially if you fold it up the right way wink - Streaky

A few hours,
Took me a few days and that was with the body off.
But I did take it all down to bare metal.

you may want to think about using POR15, but you don't want to get that in your face, also your need to remove any grease and flaky paint.

All depends on how long you want it to last.

Sorry to Hi-jack (and I have already had numerous convos with Martin about his pit anyway!!) but as someone with no knowledge, time or space to do a chassis "scape and paint" job - can anyone recommend where I can get this done. Best job at the best price as always!

If it goes through the MOT today I may very well take you up on that Leigh - I have had it checked a couple of times and been told it is all solid but has some surface shyt on it. I also have a tin of POR15 on standby for the job when I was foolish enough to think I might do this myself rofl suppose it is too early to get an estimate numbers wise?

Well body off and strip and paint with POR would be about 2k. if you want it fully stipped every thing taken off, all acid cleaned zinc coated and POR and put back with new bolts 3-4K, works out to about £25PH

That doesn't seem unreasonable to me Leigh. Not bad seeing as I have done the thick end of fook all since I bought it 4 odd years ago. If I offer labour assistance does that help wink

Will see how today goes!!!

Pencil me in mate.

As long as you don't use Wedgeless as your name as that's my idea !!!

Good luck with that Leigh, wish I had the guts and the space to do it myself

I'll be renting a workshop in gallows corner if I quit my job, and go into the motor trade.
