Anyone fitted a roll bar to a 400SE? Who supplies them and are they DIY fitment?

Also looking for advice on four point harness fitment, is it best to anchor to foll bar or chassis?

I seem to remember that there were at least two places. Tower view and Peninsular (later changed name etc?)? Still on my roundtoit list after all these years.

Tower View but this company has split up, contact is now via the tel. number on the TV web site and leave a message - if your lucky you may get a return call.

Quite a few years ago there was a thread on it. I seem to remember that the methods of attachment also varied?

And a very scary picture of a Griff on its back. Sans space for peopleyikes

I think the Towerview roll bar came from Rollcentre - who are still around.

Don't know if someone makes one for DIY fitment but no harm in calling and asking

I have got the seamless tubing to make one up but
it was creasing when my mechanic bent it
so still trying to find someone good enough to bend it

Whereabouts are you Graham, as I was quoted £350 fully fitted from
a very professional company near Skipton but you have to leave your car for a few days

I will look up the number if you are interested

cheers

Rich

The Tower View one is a RollCentre bar but RC will only supply thro' TV.
I think TV used to supply for DIY fitment - the difficulty is getting hold of TV who now operate from Norwich (I think from home)

There have been some quite nice looking Griff ones on ebay and PH at below £400, the guy is in Bristol and would be interested in making a Wedge bar but wants a car for a few week.

The company near Skipton North Yorkshire are called Performance and Protection
and do a lot of rally rollcages. I have only heard good things about them, including
a friend at the gym who worked there in his college holidays.

website address is :-

http://www.ppcages.com/

My only problem is they won't bend the seamless tubing I have already bought
as their machine is too expensive to knacker up with possibly bad material

Hope this helps
