Tamin 280 Average MPG????

I was asked the other day what the average MPG on the 280 Tasmins would be, but seeing as mine never saw the road let alone a fuel pump, I was wondering if any of you chaps know?

Well I don't think mine will get past single figures, but it's not quite a 280 plus will never be used on the road

My old Capri 2.8i used to avarage between 21 & 28 depending on driving.

When i was 21 i had an XR4i,best i managed was 18mpg,most of the time it was in single figures though
A734 SCX i think wonder where it is now

Well Steve, according to the DVLA website, the above car you mention has not been on the road since 28th Feb 2004. Was it white by any chance?

Well Steve, according to the DVLA website, the above car you mention has not been on the road since 28th Feb 2004. Was it white by any chance?

I thought they were all white

blue,black,red and white were the main colours

23-25 ish I would guess.
Haven't started ours yet yet alone driven it. Won't be worrying about mpg either as its got to be better than either Griff.

Seem to recall getting mid twenties to mid thirties from mine.

On my previous 1983 Tasmin convertible, I averaged 18-19 in intown driving and 27-31 on the open road.
I haven't done consistent tests on my 1987 and my 1984 "barn find" 280i has just now gotten on the road but I haven't driven it long enough to test the mileage.
