is the griff (greif) that bad ?
No. It's fantastic, it's awsome, it's the next step & all that but... everything's less accessable, less user friendly, less fixable. Theres more to disslike that to like for me. I can't just chuck the roof in the boot, it's hasstle. I can't get at all the engine easily. I can't look after it myself like I can a wedge. All the easy stuff is tucked away so you can't get at it like battery, master cylinders, etc.Love the car but......

Hmmm....I'm not so sure. I would have to look carefully at its history as to whether it started out as a 350i and ended up an SE...Some things don't add up IMO.I spent most of the day today hooning around in the Grief, being a pre-cat the sound is going the right way, the car turns in nice, the temperature is now rock steady after changing the themrostat this morning and I have even worked out to put the roof away in the boot in less than half an hour!
BUT, it just ain't loving me back in the same way as the Wedge.
As you mentioned everything is cooched away, the leg room for passengers (the missus) is crap and she as a consequence hates it, along with the lack of poke, noise and proper doors - this will be the third time now that the ali door bloody window runner has nearly poked her eye out!
Even my parents love the Grief compared to 'that other noisy, loud uncouth 80's dated thing you had'!! What more of a reason to go back to a wedge do you fracking need!!!!!
Therefore;
Anybody wanna buy a nice grief? It won't dissapoint, hasen't been in any accidents, is a nice classic colour combo, goes OK but won't be fulfilling any primeval dark side fantasies!
