This one has been reduced to £4995 on the dealers website so might do a deal for cash

Dunno about this one as it looks an earlier model-is there much difference between this and the other 2 mechanically?

I like white too. smile

Does the 1985 one have trailing arm or (later, better) A-frame rear suspenders ?
Important to know.

You really need to drive these cars to compare, especially the 2 later ones, to
check how well the suspension components and braking system have fared, as on paper they seem pretty evenly matched.

Every Wedge is a different animal, depending on upgrades fitted, etc.

I'm sure I don't need to remind you to have a good look at the leading edges of the chassis outriggers on all Wedges.

You might be able to get a good price from the dealer, as most are a bit nervous about Wedges. hehe

ask for chassis and suspension pictures and decide than. if they do not sent some...forget it.

do not trust ANY mot...i viewed too many cars (TVR, Louts....) with a fresh mot and a rotten chassis.

Hi,

Do you like Mica Blue with cream leather?

I have a 87 350i with 67K which will have full MOT and chassis inspection done. Will be serviced as well by local guy who knows about older cars.

Loads of history, MOT,s and money spent. Good solid car with nothing major to do but tinker. (main dash could do with veneering as has some cracks but does not bother me) Only problem car is in Glasgow.

Genuine, yes genuine reason for regretfull sale but in no hurry as I am getting some paintwork done on the front spoiler this month. (one minute selling then the next not but would like it to go to someone who will appreciate it)

If interested I can take all the photos you want and e mail.

Also this car will be featured in Classic Car Magazine in the August issue coming out in July along with AC Cobra, Austin Healey, Tiger V8 and Morgan V8 so will have a bit of fame!!

As I say not in a hurry so if you dont find one locally you can get in touch anytime as have not got to the stage of advertising as yet.

Would like to get about £4000.

The one at Spinning Wheel will be expensive as the majority of their stuff that Ive seen in the past has been over valued heavily

I remember a 280i Tasmin they had in that was up at a rare old premium, I seem to recall 350SE/390SE money being asked yikes

Wouldnt you be interested in a 390SE?

Check the "Ive died and gone to hell" thread hehe

Stu,

It was just a thought as I ended up down south to buy the car as we dont have the selection you guys do up here. Look out for the August Classic Car Mag (or might be Classic and Sportscar cant remember).

Should be interesting with the TVR up against such nice machines.

Photo shoot was in the Scottish Borders and will be called "British Roadsters"

They took about 1500 shots of the five cars but will probably use about 20!!

Good luck with the hunt.

Mike
