On the way to snetterton, met a V6 S, and he keep slowing down to let me pass.
When we got there he said he keep doing it so he could listen to my engine noise.

He then posted a message the drive home was not as fun with out the V8 sound track. smile

Most defo. any less than 8 and any more just doesn't do it. Anyone who says so is fibbin and needs a gallon of cold custard poured down the shreddies.

70's stang with 5.7 cleveland v8 and non standard exhaust system at Ashby Folville big car meet last night , the guy started her up ...... very deep sounding v8, told him he must get to the Sywell pistonheads meet, a definite threat to any TVR sound ! A worthy contender for the wedgefest sound test.

My mate takes the mick ( a Boxster driver ) coz my car is 18 years old and sometimes when I accelerate the rear view mirror flies off and hits me in the head but even he said that " it looks like cr*p but sounds great " Cheeky Porker driver.

What does everyone think ? Is the sound of a wedge the best ?
Must have been his wife's car then, eh ? hehe

1. My Wedge is PAID FOR.

2. No car that I've ever driven has sprained so many necks or made me smile
as much.

3. A Wedge is a genuinely RARE and special car, which also sounds...cloud9

If I wanted a common as muck Boxster (or even a Chim redface ) I could buy one.

I think our cars do reflect our personalities...

Er, ah, shreddies tent like material used around the nether regions to keep things modest when out in the string vest on a warm day and so named for the ill winds that cut them up in that area........

At the BNG 2 years back on the way to Newby Hall (I think) in convoy. Was followed by a Tuscan for the majority of the journey. Whilst in the queue to get into the venue, I looked in my rearview mirror and caught the eye of the Tuscan driver.....he simply put his fingers in his ears and nodded...enough said!!!
