Looks a bit of a mixture of bits. It was for sale on here a while back advertised as a 390.

very funny , tho they are sweet , I think if I am honest, already have too many wheels , but im looking to get my suspension done soon , maybe give my 16's a run out on the track if it all goes well , not till after BBWF tho

Look under the drivers rear light....

Maybe it could have had a crap Aftermarket exhaust on that someone started to chop away at? then they replaced it with something more subtle?

Hmmm - small world innit.

This guy had bought my 400SE from the guy in London to whom I had sold it a couple of years ago (still with me? )

...Owned it maybe a month and then advertised it. I then 'bought it back'.

I get the impression he is an amateur dealer.

He didn't overcharge me, as of course I knew the car, but failed to mention the slipping clutch. ( Only evident after a good half hours driving ).

Since my re-purchase in late March I've spent £1350 on putting her back to what she was 2 years ago.

I think we all know that generally you get what you pay for.

If you want a proper one with superb chassis and low mileage motor, you may as well come and look at mine for another 2 and a bit grand. Only needs a bit of carpet and some minor paint now....then I can get a 450
