prototype of what though? first convertible wedge? why is it a 1982 car though? there's a very similar looking wedge which is turboed .. maybe it's that car .. rumoured to be a factory development sister car to teh silver FHC? or did i get those many wires crossed?

Porkys I think, later bonnet and later fuel cap than the early series one rag tops.

Got to argue the point about the bonnet, the very first sries ones have 5 slots in the center at the rear of the bonnet, mine is th 13th ragtop (1980) to come out of the factory and thats how mine is shaped shoot

Every TVR made was a prototype - except the last of the series.

I think the bonnet on the prototype 350I is the American Export version as found on the Federal Spec 280i's. But this is a TVR so it was probably fitted with whatever was lying around :-)

The black one as advertised looks like the DHC Turbo which was in need of a bit of TLC I remember from the Sprint Article it was featured in a couple of years back.

Fairly sure this is the other 2.8 Tasmin Turbo. If I am correct then this was a genuine car from the factory. It was for sale in the UK a few years ago, when I went to see it. Cheers Steve

The Gamekeeper sold that one. There was a third one (third 2.8 turbo that is) that surfaced a few months ago in Africa; maybe this is that one.
