Air filter is a K&N part, don't have the number, sorry. The dimensions may be a starting point if you can find a stockist.

Window switch is a Lucas 33852A as used on TR7 and Austin Pricess. You may get one from Rimmer Brothers in Lincoln.

That's deffo a K+N filter.

You are in luck, Mr Adamski, because those filters are designed to be washed and re-used.

To wash them out, what I do is to put some neat petrol on it and rinse off most of the crud, then stick some neat washing-up liquid on, and bung it in a bucket of water and rinse it around. (Actually I use the washing machine but only when the other half isn't looking ;^)

Finally you're supposed to put some expensive K+N oil on it to trap the next batch of dust, but I find that a good spraying with WD40 does the trick.

No, deffo factory fit. The bonnet crushes it out of shape but as AQ says you can reuse it if you can get it to sit properly in the holder - no point otherwise as it'll be letting air past without filtering it.

Good point - if it leakes at either end just cut out some big circles from an old sponge to seal it off. Did the trick for me.

you may want to re-make the bracket so it angles down and does not touch the bonnet.
Also if you look at the end bit it has a metal tab, and the filter is the wrong side of this.

Mine also has 4 rods that hold it in place, and this seem to help keep it in shape.

I dont really think the bonnet hits it? The filter is really soft and just doesnt keep its shape???

I see what you mean - mine was like this too - the extra sponge to make it longer did the traick for me.
