Having searched the previous post and noting various answers what is the Brake Servo from on a 400SE, I am have heard Cortina, very rare but if so why are the rest of the Ford family (Capri etc)of the era fitted with different Servo's. The servo seems to be approx 8" diameter and most I have found tend to be 9" and do not fit, my one died last year beyond repair and I managed to get by with a peugeot unit but apart from sourcing an original I am contemplating installing a remote unit similar to the Griffith.

Any pointers on source of Servo or installation of a remote unit
Cheers

Possibly off a TR7, seem to recall that from a past posting. Rimmer Bros stock them.

When mine went the garage used the markings off the original and contacted girling or who ever it is nowadays. They found a replacement that matched but had to get a friendly motor factor to order it. So, you could try chasing it that way.
