Well, I sent my wedge to the V8 Centre in High Wycombe over a month ago just for a general tune-up and having got it back, the weather has been so sh1t that I haven't had a chance to drive it until today.

Wow.

It's absolutely AWESOME now. Dr Jeckell has definitely turned into Mr Hyde !

Had a fantastic blast around the Harwell/Oxford area, passed a Tuscan and gained a ridiculously large grin.

Mine is a red 390SE E-reg. Very rarely has it's roof on and normally has a driver grinning like an idiot !

Regretably much older than 16 - hence the nom de plume. I'll certainly be at the Wycombe meet on Feb 8th. Looking forward to it. I was at the Basingstoke meet earlier this year, but unfortunately without car. Hopefully this time I'll be fully attired.

Seamus, I would wholeheartedly recommend the V8 Centre in Wycombe. I've had my car serviced at several places now and the V8 Centre is the only place which I can say that about. Quality of job - excellent, customer service - excellent, and Perry is one Cool Dude. When you see what else they have on the ramps, you will feel very comfortable. Also, their hourly rate is more than reasonable.
