Mike, worth doing a search on this as it's been covered many times before. There is a very good thread from Adam about how to search.
The Tyres available in 14" are limited, you can still get them but not in some of the more prefered options. I guess it depends on what you want to spend and how hard you drive the car. If you want more options then you could replace the wheels with 15". If you currently have the cross spoke 14" wheels these are also available in 15" and are a straight swap. Cheers Steve.

Try Blackcircles.com You can search via your size requirement and see what tyres are available from which manufacturer. I buy my Toyo Tyres from them. When I had the same size wheels as you on my 280 I had Falken tyres and they were pretty good value and caused me no issues at all in the five years I had the car.

You can also take the printed quote from Blackcircles and see if your local tyre dealer can beat the price too!!

Happy searching

Here you are...managed to get some pics of the underside. Oops...sorry....wrong pics.... they are the underside of Veedub Beetles. redface

Except...this one's a Porsche: (memo to self - carefully check chassis condition of any foreign car. scratchchin)

Least of our worries when all our British wheels are about to fall off.......

Back to the original question smile I've got Falken on mine in that profile, they seem to work quite well.
