Absolutely agree Wyn.

Had some of those good old Dagenham dustbins in the past, perfectly good cars for what they were, but not in the same league as a Tiv, and never were...plus the never-ending battle with the rot.

Triumph Stag, well, what can you say ? Cheap Merc' SL wannabe.
In their day the girls loved them, old men drove them, and they were basically a Triumph 2000 (also old man's car) drop top fitted with a notoriously unreliable, not particularly powerful V8 which was more often than not replaced with the 'proper' RV8. Never developed properly.
Now look odd sat on those spindly wheels and narrow rear axle. frown

Triumph TR6...nice sound, not as pretty as the TR5, and thought of as a hairy-chested sports car until the TVR V8s came along. All the Triumph dashboards IMO look like a bit of varnished plywood that you knocked up in woodwork class at school. Vastly over-priced rotboxes.

Most 'classic' cars, especially 70s and 80s Fords are now making ALL TVRs look a real bargain.

If only a Wedge could star in a nice new 80s cops and robbers series. smile

Hmm ...have to get mine back pretty sharpish though. biggrin

New pic's may help in selling but he doesn't seem to be a rush to get rid ?
Either he's loaded or not enough time.
I wish somebody would buy it as i maybe able to sell a dash to the new ownerlaugh

Anyone been to look at it ?

I was just thinking, whenever I've sold a Wedge of mine to someone, they never turn up on this forum later, so I have to conclude that either the cars were as good as I'd stated....or they've committed suicide. rofl

I've seen 500SLs advertised for £6-7k so why would anyone pay £8k for a Crapi or anything else for that matter. Fortunately having a wedge is the only thing I'm not logical about otherwise I'd have the mercedes. My Wedge hasn't been driven anywhere for 4 years except into the garage I just built for it. With the cost of that I could have bought a 400 and a Mercedes. See what I mean about logic
