Can anyone give me an idea of how much it would cost me to insure a 390/400 please?

I'm mid 40s
Clean licence, held since early 1980s
Never had an at-fault accident
Advanced driver (I work for the ambulance service)
Myself and my wife to drive (she is the same age, clean licence, never had an accident)
Will be kept inside, locked away (the car, not the wife! hehe )
Limited mileage, maybe 3,000 per year
Live in a rural, very low crime rate area
Own two other cars (MB W124 and Disco V8)

Thanks!

PS: any other Wedgers live in Cumbria?

Apart from being low 40s smile, and have a clean licence, my details are the same as Wedg1es, and I pay £140 at Hagertys. When I first got my wedge, a lot of insurance companies wouldn't insure me as I didn't have 'fast car' experience. You may have to go through a year of having a painful premium before you get the cheap quotes.

I am a qualified emergency driver, with a certificate to prove it (Edexcel IHCD D2 driving qualification).

No more than a couple of hundred quid.

I'm with Adrian Flux. They even charged the same renewal (about £180) after my back wheel came off, resulting in a pretty big claim.

Have used them for the last 7 years, one claim (non fault) acted very fast with no hassle, highly rate them.

We will have some markets available. If you want to supply me with a number I will get someone to give you a call and see what we can do.

Me too, I've been with these guys for years, insure both my cars with them, circa £200 for my 400SE inc Euro cover very happy, will beat or equal other renewals and always a painless process.
Cheers

Was with Hagerty but they don't do commuting. That's the only reason I changed over.

Thanks, I'll bear that in mind once I get one.
