Reminds me of opal fruits. I used to love the orange ones. It's making my mouth water just thinking about it. Nice car, enjoy.

Handling is much improved i ran a fair bit of camber at the front and virtually no toe in plus slighly more camber than standard with a little toe in at the rear shocks set around half way hard i think it needs the rear shocks to run slighly more angle with more shockabsorbing front seemed fine i have had the car back on the build stands and checked all the mods all good so well pleased will be playing further to learn what does what but it is very tight on the road all the wallow at the rear has gone brakes are now very good you really notice the bigger servo and uprated fronts but the jag brakes at the back are to big fairly easy to lock up the rear under heavy braking looking at pressure reducing valves to be able to balance them better.

You are correct sir we cycled a good part of it

John i think what you have done is bloody marvellous ...Other than probably having one of the best handling Wedges on the planet the work you have done on it far exceeds anything recently ..I love reading about all restorations except those that are destined to be sat in a field for the rest of its days..They are only about the owner and what they have...Boring!....

But right from the start i knew this one would be interesting...My personal view is that you should of filmed the first test drive ..But more on that later....

I would of certainly been on the edge of my seat anticipating the outcome..As you know this was something i seriously thought about when you started it as from the off it made total sense and this has now got to be one of the best modifications to a Wedge, We all know the suspension set up is not the best but this puts a new chapter in the Wedge book and moves the Wedge to a new level...

If i could vote for anyone to be next years "Wedge personality" I think it would be you...smile

I may approach you with a proposition at some point...It may include a short interview as this has inspired me to kick start something i thought about 5 years ago..The idea was shot down by self righteous tw@ts back then and do you know what.... I'm kinda glad they did...laugh

Fan-fking-tastic....

As I believe it John they were the capri mk2..Possibly Cortina mk1..mk2..mk3

I know that the Ford KA fits as the Gredge has one fitted....
