Possible boiled clutch?

I was giving it a bit large when changing gear on the way home and the clutch started slipping and them afterwards pedal felt funny, a but like it was stuck.


Just wondering if I overheated the slave and boiled it? THe master is showing a small amount of fluid missing.

Anyone else boiled their clutch and what was it like?

It seems back to normal, after driving a few more miles and keeping it steady (well, until I had to show a biker what was what....)

I doubt you've boiled the fluid. Is it old ? I tend to change mine every year, as it's simple to do. Look at the end of the pushrod where it connects to the pedal to check for fluid seepage, indicating master cylinder seal wear.

Have to change the clutch on the SEAC as massively slipping g after her 1st proper run :-(

Sounds like it on its way out but you never know.

Well it's had plenty of beans since and no further problems. Will replace the fluid soon though it's looking a bit "muddy".

Could the master or slave cylinder be sticking inside. This may manifest as a loose pedal, low fluid level and or clutch slip.
