I am looking to eliminate the misfire I seem to have acquired. In preparation, I thought it would be a good idea to keep a set of spares on hand anyway - regardless of whether I end up using them. So...
Distributor cap - I seem to recall there are good and bad?
HT leads - Standard Land Rover? But what about the longer king lead?
Plugs - 5, 6 or 7? And which flavour?
All advice appreciated as ever...

Hi mate
Misfires are also attributed to loose plug connectors on ECU and injector resistor pack, A cable tie around both sorts it out.
Don't start changing random parts...Scatter gun approach is not good!!!!!!
TVR Parts sell the correct length leads...If not most people can make one up...30" is good...

Ahh I think I see the problem. Maybe you should use 8 plugs! ;^)Plugs - 5, 6 or 7?
As for ignition lead I now use bog standard LR leads, they work fine.
The longer king lead I don't usually change, I just measure the resistance from time to time.
