Tasmin Wiper motor wiring
Discussion
Working on through the electrics on my Tasmin FHC, got to the wiper motor circuits now.
Found at the motor it self, it has a good earth, however no + going to it at all.
I gave it 12v direct and found the motor works fine on low speed and high.
Tested for power from the fuse board, looking through old posts it's said that fuse 11 is for wipers, this has power and is ok.
At the switch on the column, I'm finding 2 cables have 6v at them, guess I'm loosing volts somewhere.
How is the circuit wired? Is it from the fuse to the column to the motor?

IIRC the motor has a permanent Live and and switched Live from the Column switch. There is a switch on the side of the motor so it knows when the wiper is in the 'parked' position. Mine failed a few years ago. Worth a look but not sure how the failure fits into your symptoms of dropping voltage. Cheers Steve
Thanks for all the advise once again!
Have managed to get it working tonight, found that the live goes from the fuse to the motor, then the live is linked across to the switch.
Fault was after the fuse, under the light pod is a few connectors, the joint was corroded, once I cleaned it up it worked fine! Low/high speed and 'Park'.
Another job ticked off
