Original Door Speaker - Anyone Got One?

This is one of the original door speakers...





Has anyone get one, or a pair they don't want?

I did check all four speakers after dismantling the the interior and the whole system worked fine. Now though one doesn't. Unfortunately I've now cut and trimmed the panel to suit this size of speaker so a direct replacement would be ideal. Fingers crossed.

Guess you've tried swapping them around? Definitely the speaker and not the wiring/dodgy connection?

Tried all that I'm afraid. It is reading 9 Ohms across the terminals instead of the 4 Ohms which it should do. I suppose that's the problem?

Is that a 5.25" inch (1980s standard IIRC) speaker? Available new. Grady

It is 4" across the cone and the holes are 117mm centre to centre.

Thanks for the response but I think mine is older than that. In any event it seems to be working again now. A mate suggested the magnet might be stuck inside the casing and flicking 12v across the terminals might free it off. It did and the speaker is now working again. For now any way.
