This morning was a little....busy
Firstly an apology.
I wasn't expecting such a large turn out, neither were the venue staff. I've lost count how many times I've said sorry, not just to Stevie the manager and the staff, but to those who attended. Parking became an issue very quickly and caused alot of disruption. Customers booked in for breakfast and couldn't park, some were blocked in which left a few angry/disappointed
The top gate got opened and we tried to move as many cars as we could to the grass/gravel area. Thank you to those who did, and thank you all for your co-operation and understanding.
A few complaints were made to the police who came to check up on things, but they were happy enough for things to continue.
I understand it's a busy main road, but PLEASE be more considerate when entering and leaving. A number of cars wheel spun which doesn't give the group a good impression if that's the manner of driving to be expected at our events.
All in all a very good meet, a great selection of cars on display and fantastic weather.
