I like it enough to have bought a house here, but give me the hills of the West Country any day!

Cities are fine if you are old, all that public transport to help you around. Nowhere to park a car.

Rural areas have roads you can drive, not crappy A to B motorways.

I live on the outskirts of Norwich, its a lovely place to live, but the roads have been completely messed up by the Council! Its a complete nightmare to get anywhere round the ringroad and all the shortcuts have been blocked off because you mustn't drive cars down side roads now must you!

Was having a discussion last night over a few pints about this very subject. Conclusion being that neither of us would really want to move away from the area for any length of time, suits me just fine
