Does anyone know of anywhere in Kent that would re-bore a 4cyl engine?
Parents have a project car and have asked me if I know of anywhere, so naturally I turn to PH for any suggestions!
Preferably in the South/SE area if possible?

Cheers beer

Try Modus near Tunbridge Wells. Or Hodson Engineering in Weald nr Sevenoaks. Or Baldyne in Biggin Hill.

I'm sure there's an engineering company in Folkestone, that does that sort of work on-site. They only do the machining though, not the building. I know BMS in Dover use them for reconditioning BMW heads. If you want, PM me, and I'll ask BMS for the name of the company.

I used Thanet Engine Centre when my engine needed to be rebuilt.

The mechanics had various engine rebuilds/conversions in progress at the time and 2 years on I am still happy with the result.

I've just checked with one of the mechanics, and I'm sorry, but it's not Folkestone. They use Bell Engines in Herne Bay.
