Epping New Road now 40mph

Just a warning for those who know and use it.Came home that way yesterday to discover the road has been reduced from NSL (60) to 40mph. Only just noticed the repeaters before I got too far, still had someone right up behind me probably thinking it was till NSL.
Suspect it wont be long before cameras and traps.

Further down towards Woodford where it's 30mph heading towards Epping,there's regularly plod with a gun sat just inside the entrance to one the block of flats.

Not surprised due to the number of RTC's on that stretch of road over the years...

It has been like that for a couple of weeks now, I guess theres a number of reasons:- deer, walkers, cyclists and horse riders crossing the road from the forest either side and long straight (ish) roads for motorists to abuse if theyre so iniclined, quite a recipe.

40mph is so slow on that road, as someone has already said alot of people still think its 60mph, police have been along there with cameras a couple of times. was always a good road for the Ferrari!!
