Evo's complete with camera crews patrolling Lakeside and roads around Thurrock today, you have been warned

Perhaps they will be around of an evening when the tw@t collective turn up and roar around with complete disregard for road safety etc......probably not though

I was told the Chief Constable didn't like the way the show made the unit look.

Ah, get it now. You may have a point as a few senior officers from the Ockendon and Laindon units have moved in the past 12 months and policing of traffic issues (tax, insurance, speeding, street racing etc) has noticeably dropped off during this time. Hence the regular complaints from locals about the racing that takes place around Lakeside every weekend and attracts very little attention from our local fuzz

Actually, they spend a lot of time up there. Last time I popped up to see them they had 2 un-marked cars and 3 marked doing the operation. That was only a few weeks back.
