How safe is my Soft Top in Hythe

A group of friends have arranged to stay in Hythe next spring at a hotel called the Stade on the seafront. The hotel has limited parking so left with street parking.I do not know Hythe at all and not to keen to leave my XKR convertible on some streets due bto idiots.Am I better leaving it at dome and using company BMW ?

Hythe is Gods waiting room, full of oldies.

It will be fine along any of the roads near the Stade hotel.
