They are on several junctions of the A13 too. not really sure what they are doing littering the verge for tho.

We've got a variation of these in yellow in Kent: "Picking up your litter puts road workers lives at risk".

I must admit, in a blonde moment early the first morning when I saw that I thought "Are they asking us not to pick up our own litter to keep the litterpickers in a job?!". Then I realised and felt like a plum. biggrin

I see they have started repairing a few between basildon/pitsea, each has some sort of number by it. eek the one i noticed was 512
