SOTW MR2 Mk1 - join in the G32 wind up!

The Mk 1 MR2 looks as if it had connections with Lotus according to PH write up on the current SOTW.

Could this be why the G32 didn't get it's deserved recognition?
I know, I'm a conspiracy theorist, but some of this 'Lotus' stuff has to be more than a coincidence. I thought I would add a little fun to the debate (DON'T LET ON YET please!) by adding a pic of a G32 saying it was the MR2's contender at the time (without mentioning it was a Ginetta!).
Amazing how nobody as identified it yet, last post said 'it better not be a Fiero.'
