Sorry to drag up an old thread but I seem to be having earthing problems on my MY2000 Mk5 Fiesta.

I'm looking to sell the car soon so would rather not be paying out too much on it so was therefore wondering if anyone did have a wiring diagram they could send me as well, as per the OP.

Basically I think its the earth off the airbag control module thats playing up, which I assume is earthed under the dash somewhere (?). My plan was to run a new earth basically.

Regards,

Bugger!

Well, hopefully we might get a response now. Would be really handy to have the info and I'd rather not be paying out on a haynes manual for a car I am about to sell so keen to avoid that route.

But somethimes asking the right questions can help. It seems that one of the guys at Bridgewater designed the Foxguard F18E board and is happy to talk me through getting it working. Fingers crossed.

HAve spoken to Gareth at Bridgewater Electronics and have reset the alarm and its working bounce

They still make the alarm under a new name BEESECURE.

Brilliant company and brilliant service. Highly recommended!

Cheers.

Not half as glad as I am. The installation has been done so well its hard to know what is original harness and what is added for the alarm.
