cheap fiesta mk3 mods??
Discussion
Theres not much that hasnt been done thats not too expensive or time consuming, but you could have a think about these (bearing in mind I dont know if it's CVH or Zetec so havent gone into engine mods)
- 15" Escort GTi wheels go straight on (£100 ish)
- MK3 Mondeo Estate spoiler fits the bootlid on the Fiesta (about £30-£50)
- Set of gauges (oil pressure, oil temp, manifold pressure etc) (£50)
- White dials on the rev counter, speedo+fuel (£30)
- Paint the rocker cover same colour as the car (£10)
- Paint the calipers (£10)
- Uprate the brakes with decent pads and discs (£40)
Any good?
Half that stuff you could probaby get from fiestaturbo.com on the forums
You could lower it if not done already, but I prefer to buy new when it comes to suspension, and you're probably looking at a good couple of hundred quid for a full kit.

not sure if i put, its a 1.6si and zetec engine x
thanks for the info on the mondeo spoiler will browse the almighty ebay
also gonna look for the gauges. already have white dials and blue back leds
have got 2 replace an arch and have found the panel cheap so will have paint left over for rocker cover and some ameright(i think its called) for calipers and have replaced brakes and discs with it being stuck on the front
have heard the rocker cover goes a diff colour with engine after being sprayed??
the bumps round here are REALLY bad so will prob not have it lowered. have seen a really nice kit but its 399 and is cheapest ive seen so will have 2 wait for that bit.
these are all great ideas mate thanks, bf wont be best pleased when im in car all night tho haha x

Ah, it's the MK3.5 then rather than the original MK3. Has it got the wingback seats and spots in the lower front bumper?
The Mondy spoiler should still fit the rear tailgate, I was going to say Laguna splitter on the front but I dont know if it fits the later Mk3
When you're bored with all that, remember that the Mondeo engine would pretty much drop in

Theres loads you can do to the mk 3's is it a 3 door if so where abouts are you as i have an xr2i body kit you can have for £10 this is the four arches and two side skirts and the jacking covers these look good on the si's
Also got a set of lowering springs from an xr2i they are a 60mm drop which i think may fit but cant be 100% sure want £20 for them but wont be available for a week or two as changing them for some that are not so low
painting calipers is a cheap option dont buy a caliper kit use hamerite smallest tin will easily do.
There is also loads of bits you can paint under the bonnet without it looking tacky suspension top mounts, rockers cover, coil pack mount
You can also colour code interiot bits but if over done can look tacky cheap as chips to do.
if you send me your email i can send you some pics of mine to give you some ideas
