Best place to ask will be the RS Owners Club forum tbh - quite a few users there who can give you the pros & cons of each smile

Definitely s1.

It going to be so much sought after in a few years.

down to personal taste but S1 will always be worth more but spares cost more too. S2 is by far the easier to live with in that respect but i would say get the one you like the look of the best cos performance is neither here or there and most have been tuned anyway so each car is individual.

Finda good un and keep it good or find a bad un and make it a good un, but never regret it.

S1 every time for me.

Very little in it performance wise but the S2 feels a little too "tame" for me.

What sort of budget do you have as a good S1 is going to cost anything from 5-10k.
Good S2's finish about 7.5k.

Prefer the interior of the S1 too although the '90 spec (Zolda) trim in the S2 does look very nice.
The S2 is better specced with "ABS", fuel computer and HFS if that's the kind of thing you want.

If I had another S2 it would have to be a standard '90 spec in Mercury Grey.

Please... if you buy a S1 keep it standard and that means orange indicators and the bumper over riders in the correct place. wink
