Hi all, i hope someone can help me out with this, i don't use the car in the week, so it just sits on the drive. if we have had heavy rain, the passenger side footwell gets really wet.

Quite a common problem tbh - happened on my Focus RS & i know quite a few other FRS owners on the RSOC who have also had the same problem

Its normally caused by water getting in via the scuttle panel on the passenger side where the pollen filter is located underneath - replace the seal for the pollen filter & should stop water ingress

yer as above, its where the pollen filter has been changed and the scuttl panel has been bent on the bottom so its lets the water to pass through the pollen filter and into the car, most garages are aware of this, ask them to change yopur filter as that will be soaked and to reseal your scuttle panel for you and all should be good

What they both said. Pollen Filter needs refitting.

Had this happen to me. What everyone has told you is spot on.

Just make sure that you check that they've sealed it properly. The water can still run down the bulkhead and soak up through the carpet if they haven't.

Took about a week for mine to dry out properly.
