Fiesta 1.25 gearbox noise

Hi guys, first post here.
I have a 2001 Fiesta 1.25, with 42k on the clock, fsh. I have noticed a 'grumble' from the gearbox as i pull away and then in any gear as I accelerate up to 1800 rpm, where it the goes away any is smooth as silk after that. Has anyone had this or know what the prob may be?
The clutch also squeaks if you dont time your clutch movement spot on with the accelerator.
