Removing Stripes - Fiesta ST

Ive just purchases a Fiesta ST in white with blue stripes. The dealer says they can remove the stripes but there is the possibility that it may leave a mark in the paint.

Has anybody done this before, the car is 2 years old. As its white paint im not sure it would show at all if any?

Im talking more about the difference in paint colours? As the white would have been out in the natural light for 2 years. Not sure if it would have faded or not.

Nothing a polish wont sort out... can easily bring it back up to the same colour if its faded, but i mean blue isnt a colour that fades easily... but red on the other hand...

Mate of mine took of his from a black mini, his was only a yr old tho and you did see a lttle difference but nuthing a good polish didnt sort out!
