FORD COUGAR V6 TYRES

So apparently the standard tyres on my V6 Cougar are a little hard to find..?

Standard fit is 215/50/16 but I'm told that 205/50/16 will be ok too? (and much easier to get hold of). Is this true, does any one know?

I eventually found Kumho did the correct size and promptly fitted 4 to my 2001 V6..... Still going strong now after a fair few years use

or 225/50. Probably make your speedo more accurate aswell
