Morning Everyone, hope all enjoyed a good Christmas.

55 plate Focus ST, approx. 37k on the clock, all fluids, gauges etc show all running normal however, what started off as a very slight hesitation when going from 1st to 2nd is now getting worse and starting to happen in all gears (however, not when I'm going back down the box from 4th to 3rd etc).

I pull away in first, it can bog down feeling like it could almost stall then suddenly I'm off. Change into 2nd, same sort of feeling like it's lost all power but then it kicks back in and again I'm off.

I'm getting no bad smells like burning or anything like that.

Clutch maybe?

Any help would be really great.

Thanks, Bags.

If its a stutter, maybe the airflow meter is dirty. Disconnect from the back of the air box and give it a clean.
