Bonnet open, but shut..!!!!!

Hi there.

My sons fiesta (2013 S1600) is saying bonnet open when clearly it is shut.

Is there a sensor that can be adjusted, perhaps it’s moved slightly.

Any help, greatly appreciated.

I had the same issue on my 2001 Zetec S - some WD40 on the sensor on the front panel sorted it out.

Thanks for that, but, where is the sensor to spray please.

Also, he’s just tonight hit the passenger side skirt on a concrete post or something.
Dented part of it onwards.
How do these come off, hopefully I can straighten it, rub it down & respect it.

I thought the sensor was integral to the latch itself.
