2002 1.8 Focus petrol engine.
On cold start reverse graunches on selection. Once in car reverses without problem or gearbox noise.
No problems with 5 forward gears or selecting first. No gearbox noise.
No slippage.
Possibly due to air in system? Perhaps change hydraulic fluid?
