Hello,

I am finding myself in the fortunate position of being iffed a 1985 XR3i in original condition.
I have been thinking about returning to a Ford for a couple of years.

Am I going to be struggling for parts over the coming years with this ? My gut tells me no, but I am out if touch with Fords

Any opinions on this please ?

Not sure about the parts availability. However a 1985 XR3i is a great piece of kit. Please post some pictures and many congratulations.

I own a 1985 Orion Injection Ghia, which is basically the thinking mans XR3i! You should be OK with mechanical bits, but Im sure some XR3i specific bits may be more difficult as the Mk3 is rarer than the Mk4.

Post some pics when you get it, I love a mk3 XR3i

You will have 2 issues, firstly finding them, secondly being able to afford them if you do find them

Mechanicals will be no problem, interior trim is another matter.
