Looking at a 2019 Focus 1.5T 180bhp St-Line. (Same as the pic) for my wife.
However I'm a bit confused exactly which engine it has. Autotrader say it has a 4 cylinder engine, but Google suggests it may be a 3 cylinder.
Online suggests the four cylinders have coolant intrusion on engines built upto June 2019.
I think this age were chains cam but had an oil pump wet belt.
Have no idea whether to avoid or buy. Is the 180bhp one to avoid.

The previous Focus was a 4 cylinder, the current Focus is a 3 cylinder. The 1.5 diesel is 4 cylinder

I’ve got the 180 version. It’s essentially the dragon 3 cylinder from the Fiesta ST. They are deemed reliable by the trade. I’ve needed to change a coil pack which was under £50 from Ford and 5 mins labour while drinking a cup of tea. I really like it.

Are all 1.5T 180hp petrol of this model Focus the 3 cylinder. I'm assuming the oil pump wet belt doesn't cause any issues.
Every one I've looked at 2019-2020 on Autotrader states 4 cylinder
