Carl Baker alarm battery disconnect

Ok, so I had Carl Baker fit the Metasystem HPAT1 Cat 1 Alarm a couple of years ago. I can't make head nor tail of the 'instruction booklet'. I need to disconnect the battery. Will this give me issues with the alarm ? Ta.

On all the TVRs I've owned, disconnecting the battery has never been a problem.

Usual caveat when removing battery, let go the -VE terminal first, then the +VE.
When re-connecting, it's the +VE first then negative.
Have your keys/immobiliser fob in your pocket as the car will lock itself and arm the immobiliser...might give a couple of chirrups!
