Spark Plug Shrouds required for Griff 500

As per the title, I need 8 new shrouds. Struggling to get any. Anybody know of where I might source some? Thanks in advance

I believe they are now obsolete, little chance of finding new but may be some useable second hand?

The "modern option" seems to be Ceramic or heat resisting plug caps and heat proof socks. Lot of previous posts on here.

IMO you may be better off with the 2nd hand ones if you want to keep using them. I bought a set of 8 genuine Beru 302 Vectra plug extenders from a reputable French automotive parts supplier and all bar 2 failed within 12 months.

Is there a way to test the plug extender’s? Or is it just a case of when they fail they fail permanently?

Not sure about testing but mine all cracked on black plastic section where the HT lead connects you could see the cracks I presume in the original Cavalier they wouldn't be subjected to the same heat. You could hear the misfire they caused. But presumably there's something more scientific probably using a meter or rover gauge.





In the dark you could see them arching.
