Chassis restore

I'm having a Griff chassis blasted and painted, is it best to have this done with screws in the threads to prevent them getting filled with powdercoat and/or are there any other things that need protection?

Their are some silicone inserts available on flea bay these work well or like you say just put threads in the holes

If you mean ready for re-use then no they will be fubar after blasting.
