Strut Caps for Tuscan Convertibles and Tamoras

Strut caps were fitted on Chimaeras by TVR , supposedly to remove the wind noise with the targa down, but in my opinion looks neater .

My Tuscan Convertible never had any caps and looks like this :-

Which I think looks a bit tatty , so I've modified the Chim caps that I 3D print by grinding them down a bit , with this result:-

Which I think does look better. Only issue was the roll hoops on a Convertible , which are very close to the strut when the targa is up.. so I had to grind the cap to sit lower. Obviously not a problem on a Tamora , since no roll hoops.
