Starter Motor Recon Bucks/Berks

Can anyone recommend a relatively inexpensive place to get a recon/new starter motor for my '93 Chim 4.0 in the High Wycombe area?

I presume a Recon unit will be on an exchange basis...

Mine has started to suffer from being cooked once to often...as for the hot running that caused the fried motor, that's another story...

I live in High Wycombe, how about that.

If your under warranty, the Henley garage is good. Probably worth asking them for a quote even if not. Although they add a special "Henley" 30% to their used cars, they have not yet carried this policy over to their servicing / repairs dept.

surely its the same as a range rover unit, so it might be worth trying your local halfords
