Hello, and yes, it's that time again! The Berkshire TVRCC meet tomorrow, Tuesday, 18 April at Three Mile Cross...

You can find us after 19:30 at The Swan Pub. It's off the M4, J11 (signed A33 Basingstoke). There is a sign at the roundabout for Three Mile Cross. The pub is opposite the BP station. Even if your TVR can't make it, we will still let you in the car park with your 'other' car We are expecting the meeting to be crashed by members of the C3C TVRCC, so come on out and say Hello

Yet again I fail miserably to plan my time and cannot make the meeting.

I will be at next months though and cannot wait to have a good look at a wedge as I have never really seen one and it might be my next car

I finally got round to joining the TVRCC after 8 months of TVR ownership (better late than never!) and was looking forward to my first meeting, then I remembered that I'm TVR-less.

There's no way I'm turning up to my first meeting in a courtesy car, but I'll definitely be along for the May meeting (other kamikazee drivers permitting), assuming I'm back in the S by then.

Richard, we don't mind if you show up in a courtesy car! You can always drive in like this and leave in the same fashion Do come out and say Hello! There is usually a posted list of Berks TVRCC upcoming events that you may miss if you don't join us tonight

Alex - I'm staying near West Malling - so v close to Maidstone.

But I should be back in the Reading area from this weekend. (Ms Griff2be and I are splitting up and I had been down in Kent at parents' for a while to see if distance made the heart grow fonder. Apparently it didn't so I'll be moving back into home whilst we sell it).

Thanks for the encouragement! I'm up in Leamington Spa today and not sure what time I'll get back. If it's at a reasonable hour I'll see if I can make it, but the lack of a TVR for a TVRCC meeting is a big psychological barrier to overcome!

However, I've got the next meeting in my calendar already (20/5 right?) so I'll definitely be along to that one if I don't make it tonight.

Cheers,
Richard

Thanks mate. Apparently there are plenty more potential Mrs griff2be's in the sea. It'll be a bit crappy for a while, but no different for me than for many others. Chin up and all that....

If anyone wants to buy a really nice house in Goring Heath (no, not you Ed, unless you're sober this time), let me know. 3 beds, BIG garden, double garage, AGA, etc (about £400-410k) - let me know....:sniff:

Bob mate,

Shame that Sprint still had the old RO's phone number in, otherwise Graham would have made contact sooner. Hopefully it'll be right next this month's.

Many thanks to Rivergirrl for making the connection.

I've asked Graham to try and get an idea of the Berks numbers together. The Surrey meet is tomorrow, so Karen and I'll should have a better idea of our numbers then. I'll try and get in touch with the remaining ROs this week or early next and hope to pop down to the North Kent meet this month too. Don't forget that the Surrey Runners may be joining us too after their Breakfast blast. I hope we can manage the odd one or two cars

Cheers,

Steve

Just got home from a pleasant evening out with the Berks gang. We enjoyed the fab weather by spending the entire evening outside, either in the car park admiring shiny cars or out front - eating, drinking and being merry. It was good to see Keith and Martin from the C3C TVRCC, especially Martin's dazzling Noble ((memories of hooning around Brunters in said Noble still dance in my head )) The moonlit drive home, roof off, was superb See you next month!
